The Craft Story
Katan silk is prized for its smooth texture, natural sheen and graceful fall. The Dhoop-Chav weave creates a subtle play of colour as the silk catches the light, while Minakari adds touches of contrasting colour within the woven motifs.
From Banaras
Banaras is known for its richly woven silk textiles, where elaborate motifs, zari and colour come together on the handloom. Kaashi takes that traditional richness and softens it through a warm peach palette, delicate butis and touches of colour woven into the floral details.
